ACCO BINDINGAn inexpensive, nonpermanents type that allows for easy updating. This binding consists of flat metal strips with pins which are inserted through holes drilled in the paper then flattened and secured by slide fasteners. This binding has a stiff opening characteristic and does not lay open flat. |

CHICAGO SCREWAn inexpensive, non -permanent type of binding that allows for easy updating. A machine screw is inserted into one or more holes in the paper and fastened by means of a thread cylinder inserted through the opposite side of the paper. This binding does not lay flat when opened. |

PLASTIC COMBThis is an attractive binding that is available in many colors to match or compliment cover stock. It allows books to open perfectly flat, so it is preferred for reference manuals. With proper equipment, pages can be added or removed. It is unstable for thicker books. |

SADDLE STITCHThis binding is permanent and presents a finished appearance for small publications such as corporate brochures and annual reports. Staples are stitched into the fold lines of several sheets. |

SPIRAL WIRE BINDINGThis excellent wire binding is a Graphic Reproduction, Contra Costa exclusive. This maybe you're best binding presentation. It is permanent and is perfect for booklets and publications ranging in book thickness from a few pages to three and one quarter inches. |

STAPLE and TAPEThis is a permanent type of binding that has a neat shelf appearance, but with stiff opening characteristics. Staples are driven into the binding margin, then both sides and spine are covered with tape. This binding has a stiff opening characteristic and does not lay open flat. |

VELLO BINDINGThis is a permanent type binding that comes in many colors. It has a neat finished appearance. It utilizes a plastic pin strip, which is placed through holes punched in the paper, and a matching bottom strip. Protruding pins are matched, trimmed, and molded to form a permanent rivet. This binding does not lay flat when opened. |

WIRE-O BINDINGProduces a neat, finished appearance, with a wrap-around cover that allows for spine printing. After binding, books are trimmed for uniformity of paper edges. |

FAST BACK PERFECT BINDINGThis is a permanent type of binding that has a professional published appearance. Fastback perfect Tape binding allows you to foil stamp your report title in a variety of colors. You can even create a wrap around cover much like a published paper back book. This binding technique will allow the document to lay open flat.
